How to combine first founding activities with your role as a researcher?

21 January 2021 | 5:30 pm
Internal event for IntCDC early career researchers.

As part of the IntCDC Start-up Series and in cooperation with Prof. Alexander Brem, Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science, the Cluster of Excellence IntCDC will host an online panel discussion on the topic of combining start-up activities with early career research.

This online discussion will feature two pitches by start-ups active in both the IntCDC and SimTech technical area. Afterwards, there will be an online panel discussion with Prof. Alexander Brem, Director of the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science, Dr. Eric Heintze, Postdoc at the institute, and with Moritz Dörstelmann (founder of Fibr) and Dr. Sven Benson (founder of Candidum).

The discussion will focus on what can already be done during academic research to prepare for the start of one’s own company. We will highlight required skills and necessary steps to best prepare for this career path.
