A joint workshop series by IntCDC and SimTech.
IntCDC Event

For the upcoming recruiting period the Clusters of Excellence IntCDC and SimTech jointly designed a series of workshops that aim at the earliest point in community development: the recruiting process. The innovative format is divided in two parts, sourcing and candidate selection.

The workshops on sourcing help the inviting institutes to address and reach a greater number of high potentials. In three sessions, the Equal Opportunity (EO) Managers Lisa Schöllhammer (IntCDC) and Almut zu Schwabedissen (SimTech) are providing important assistance and general hands-on information on topics regarding the first part of the recruitment process:

The first session aimed at increasing the number of qualified candidates who apply for the Clusters’ open positions by more inclusive job ads. The workshop was well attended, including both spokespersons of the Clusters IntCDC and SimTech.

A follow-up consultation option offered by the EO Managers includes feedback on individual job announcements, as well as assistance in placing open positions in selected job portals.

Workshops for the second phase of recruiting (candidate selection) will be announced in the following months.
