We are excited to announce that the Urbach Tower has been named a finalist in the experimental category and an honorable mention for overall excellence of the FastCompany 2020Innovation by Design Awards, which highlights designers and businesses solving the problems of today and tomorrow.
The innovative, underlying Self-Shaping Wood technology of the tower was co-developed by ICD and ITKE, in cooperation with ETH Zürich, Empa and Blumer-Lehmann AG.
