We are pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) elevated IntCDC Member and Director and Principal Investigator at MPI-IS, Dr. Katherine J. Kuchenbecker to the membership grade of IEEE Fellow in its November 2021meeting.
She receives this honor for contributions to interactive haptic systems and robotic touch perception, the same topics she and her team are researching within IntCDC. After a rigorous evaluation procedure, less than 0.1% of voting members are selected annually for elevation to the member grade of IEEE Fellow.
