We are pleased to announce that our IntCDC Researcher Dr. Yana Boeva has been appointed as member to the newly elected Advisory Board of the Prospectives Journal. The new open access journal published by B–Pro at The Bartlett School of Architecture was launched in November 2020.
Prospectives is dedicated to the exploration of cutting-edge cross-disciplinary research around the future of computational architectural design, automation, and fabrication technologies. To create a diverse, inclusive, and equitable cohort working on the future of the journal and these topics, Prospectives was seeking applications from researchers and designers around the world.
The journal's online-only format, also allows for a faster turnaround of publications and will give voice to new voices and established authors alike. As the managing editor Mollie Claypool states, “Prospectives aims to unravel traditional hierarchies and boundaries of architectural publishing.” With its focus on innovative research in computational design and fabrication technologies as well as on cross-disciplinary exchange, the journal is linked to the Cluster’s research goals. This collaboration also supports our established research partnership with the Bartlett School of Architecture.
