IntCDC researchers presented the latest findings in timber construction research in a dedicated track at the South German Timber Construction Congress (Süddeutscher Holzbau Kongress, SHK). The track was moderated by Prof. Simon Aicher (MPA) and included the following presentations:

This year's Süddeutscher Holzbau Kongress was jointly hosted by Aalto University Helsinki (FI), Berner Fachhochschule (CH), Technische Hochschule Rosenheim (DE), TU Wien (AT), TUM München (DE) and the University of Stuttgart (DE). The event was co-organised by KIT Karlsruhe (DE) and TU Kaiserslautern-Landau (DE).
About the FORUM HOLZBAU
FORUM HOLZBAU or FORUM HOLZ is a joint platform of the Aalto University School of Science and Technology Helsinki (FI), the Bern University of Applied Sciences (CH), the Technical University Rosenheim (DE), the Technical University of Munich (DE), the Vienna University of Technology (AT) and of the University of Northern British Columbia (CA). In Italy, the organisation cooperates closely with the Università di Trento.
The aim and mission of the association is to promote the use of timber in the building industry. Surplus funds are used to support research and development projects in the field of timber construction.
