Visiting Professor Søren Linhart

We are very happy to welcome Søren Linhart.

Søren Linhart studied architecture at the Bauhaus University in Weimar and at Chalmers University in Gothenburg. He worked at Bosshard & Luchsinger Architects in Lucerne and was a research assistant at ETH Wohnforum – ETH Case, Professor Eberle, from 2007 to 2011.

In 2010, he entered into a partnership with Patrik Seiler, leading to the establishment of Seiler Linhart Architects, with studios in Lucerne and Sarnen.

Since 2012, he has been a member of the Swiss Architects Federation BSA. Søren Linhart has been a board member of the Swiss Werkbund Central Switzerland since 2011 and of BSA Central Switzerland since 2015.

In the next two semesters, Søren Linhart will expand the IBK team in teaching and research and, together with Thomas Ehrhart (ITKE), form the research standem "Innovations in timber construction". The research group is funded by the Ministry of Rural Affairs in the State of Baden Württemberg.
