Our ambition to play a decisive role in shaping the future of architecture and the construction sector at the IntCDC means that we need to network with other stakeholders from academia and industry and create suitable platforms for dialogue on current issues and challenges. In the following, we provide an overview of the IntCDC's activities in this area.

Research Network AdvanceAEC

EXC 2120 IntCDC

The International Research Network for Advancing Architecture, Engineering and Construction AdvanceAEC was initiated by the Cluster of Excellence IntCDC to bring together researchers who strive to advance architecture, engineering and construction through digital technologies and an interdisciplinary approach. Established in 2020 with several other large, publicly funded research centres, the network provides a platform to share expertise, to foster exchange, and to build an international research community across architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, robotics and social science. The network is continuously expanding and open to both, institutional network partners and individual network members.
