On Saturday, May 13, 2023, the Science Day will take place at the University of Stuttgart, Campus Vaihing. The annual event provides a glimpse behind the scenes of science and research. On this day hands-on experiments, lectures and impressions of university life will be presented.

Together with the Cluster of Excellence Data-Integrated Simulation Science (SimTech), the Interchange Forum for Reflecting on Intelligent Systems (IRIS), the International Center for Cultural and Technological Studies (IZKT), Cyber Valley, and the Artificial Intelligence Software Academy (AISA) we join forces and will be participating with a colorful and diverse program for all ages at the SimTech builing located at Pfaffenwaldring 5a.

Join our IntCDC reasearchers and explore the future of construction and find answers to these questions::

How can we build more sustainably in the future? What will architecture look like if we use materials only where they are really required? What role do natural renewable materials play in this context? And how do robots support this new approach in the building industry?

Learn more about the method of co-design and a new material culture in the field of design and construction. Learn about the advantages of fibre-wound buildiing components and in which building types they are applied. Understand how robots can help us to manufacture these components and wind your own small fiber prototype manually. Discover new ways of using wood in construction with the help of computers and robots. Last but not least see how new technologies program the material properties of wood and thus use them in a targeted way.

Curios? We are looking forward to your visit!

An overview of the University's programm can be found in the event app.
