We are pleased to invite you to visit the Departments of Timber Constructions of the Materials Testing Institute (MPA) & Timber Engineering of the Institute of Construction Materials (IWB).
Jun. Prof. Dr. Philippe Grönquist will give a short lecture/insights on the diverse fields of activities and current research topics about timber engineering and engineered wood products at MPA and IWB.
A guided tour at the lab and testing facilities of the Department Timber Constructions at MPA will follow the lecture.
Our ViNe networking programme aims to promote mutual acquaintance, interdisciplinary exchange and cross-disciplinary understanding between researchers from around eighteen institutes at the University of Stuttgart and one MPI, encompassing architecture, structural engineering, building physics, engineering geodesy, manufacturing and systems engineering, computer science and robotics, and human and social sciences.
ViNe's target group: Early Career Researchers (ECR) of the Cluster of Excellence, its Associated Projects (APs) and the SRC ArchIDA, but it is open to all IntCDC members.
