SUMMARY:EXC Start-Up Workshop: How to identify innovation opportunities for tech startups?
DESCRIPTION: \nAs part of the EXC start-up series of the IntCDC and SimTech Clusters of Excellence, we cordially invite you, together with the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI), to a 2-day practical workshop on Guiding market choices for technology-based startup firms.This on-site format will teach you how to identify, evaluate and select market opportunities for a tech-based startup. Based on the case study of a robotics startup from the University of Stuttgart you will learn and experience the process in a hands-on way.You will learn how to identify new areas for innovation based on technological capabilities, how to conduct market-and competitor analysis and make strategic  decisions based on a proven methodology. You will work in teams with other PhD students from the University of Stuttgart and develop a recommendation for the startup, which markets to focus on. The knowledge and experience gained can be applied beyond the startup world, e.g. in corporate innovation.\nIf you are interested in learning more, please get in touch with Marcel Werle, startup coach at the ENI institute.\n
