SUMMARY:Digitize Wood Network Meeting 
DESCRIPTION: \nIn this network meeting we will look at living and design concepts for timber buildings with a focus on modular and prefabricated construction methods: What do timber buildings actually look like and what design and technical aspects determine their form?\nBased on the research of the IntCDC Cluster of Excellence, Alya Rapaport looks at the prefabrication and modularity of multi-storey construction in the past, using historical examples from the 1960s and 1970s. Hana Svatos-Raznjevic shows the limits of the design scope of multi-storey timber buildings: their morphological typification, utilisation concepts and the question of the relationship between standardisation and creative design.\nHubert Nopper from AH Aktivhaus GmbH will give us an overview of Germany's largest Plus Energie Quarter, currently under construction in Stuttgart. He will shed light on the neighbourhood development in cooperation with the building owner and other project participants as well as the energy concept.
