Doctoral Researcher Carl Haufe at Kongress BW 2026

October 22, 2026 / Carl Haufe, ILEK

21 - 22 October 2026 / Heidelberg Congress Center

On 22 October, Carl Haufe from ILEK will present the IntCDC research project RP 1-3 at the Baden-Württemberg Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy Congress. Now in its 14th year, the Kongress BW brings together decision-makers from business, academia, and politics. Taking place in Heidelberg on 21 and 22 October this year, the event will feature plenary sessions, forums, workshops and networking opportunities.

As part of the '99 Projects for a Post-Fossil Future' initiative organised by the State Rectors' Conference, Carl Haufe will present the IntCDC research project RP 1-3, which focuses on multifunctional graded concrete for sustainable building envelopes. With this technology, concrete is used only where it is needed. This enables a significant reduction in volume – and consequently in weight and material usage – whilst maintaining the same functionality and performance.
