On 9 September, the 10th anniversary of the Cyber Valley Innovation Campus was celebrated in Tübingen, with prominent guests in attendance, including Minister-President Cem Özdemir and Mayor Boris Palmer.
As a partner of Europe’s leading centre for AI and modern robotics research, the Cluster of Excellence IntCDC participated in the academic exhibition. Visitors explored the cluster‘s building demonstrators via an interactive touchscreen, while the architectural model of the Wangen Tower, standing over 1.2 metres high, attracted significant attention and sparked numerous fruitful discussions and networking opportunities.
Throughout the day, Cyber Valley hosted inspiring keynotes and talks by leading researchers and innovators, including cluster members Katherine J. Kuchenbecker (Max-Planck-Institut für Intelligente Systeme) and Steffen Staab (Institute for Artificial Intelligence, University of Stuttgart). Katherine J. Kuchenbecker provided insights into haptic intelligence and research projects such as HuggieBot and SuperCute, while Steffen Staab gave an introduction to knowledge graphs.
