On Saturday, 27 June 2026, the annual Science Day of the University of Stuttgart will take place at the Campus Vaihingen. The event provides a glimpse behind the scenes of science and research. Hands-on experiments, lectures and impressions of university life will round up the picture.
This year, the University of Stuttgart is showcasing ‘Artificial Intelligence in Robotics’ as a pioneering field of research.
Join our IntCDC researchers as they explore the future of construction. Learn more about the method of Co-Design and a new material culture in the field of design and construction. Learn about the advantages of fibre-wound components and discover the types of buildings in which they are used. Gain an understanding of how robots can assist in manufacturing these components.
Children will manually wind their own small fibre prototype.
Discover new ways of using timber in construction with the help of computers and robots. Last but not least, learn how new technologies can be used to programme timber's material properties, and thus use them in a targeted way.
Curios? We are looking forward to your visit at Universitätsstraße 32, University Campus Vaihingen!
